What Should I Do Before I Move In?
Buyers Answers
1. Have a locksmith re-key all the locks. You don’t know where all the keys are or who has had keys to your new home!
2. Bring a cashier’s check to closing.
3. Make arrangements to have your new home insured. Your insurance agent/company can then handle all the arrangements with the Title Company for insuring your new home.
4. Turn on the utilities. Not to worry, because this is usually a seamless process. Here is a list of many of the utilities serving your area:
