Throughout the construction process you and your Realtor should make the builder and construction manager aware of any concerns you might have. Fax machines are an excellent means of communicating and also provide a record correspondence. If you paid attention during your first meetings with the on site sales representative, they most likely outlined the buyer’s inspection process for you. All reputable builders make provisions for the buyer to have several opportunities in which to document defects. There comes a point, however, when cosmetic blemishes will no longer be addressed. So, be observant and also be reasonable.
