Spring Creek
Spring Creek is a comfortable and extremely friendly North Dallas Subdivision of approximately 478 single family homes ranging in price from approximately the low $220K's to the high $300K's. It's bordered on the North by Arapaho, on the East by Coit, on the South by Beltline and on the West by Meandering Way. Offering excellent Richardson ISD educational opportunities within walking distance and at all grade levels, Spring Creek Elementary occupies a prominent place in the very heart of this North Dallas Subdivision. Westwood Junior High is located in the Northwestern Corner and Richardson High School is a 1/4 mile drive down Beltline to the East.
Spring Creek Subdivision in North Dallas is extremely family oriented and "connected". In addition to their neighborhood website, they offer a community newsgroup called Spring Creek Newsgroup North Dallas which is only available to Spring Creek residents. On this site you'll hear about everyone who died, got married, or was recently born. Residents are fond of reporting on anything suspicious to be on the lookout for, as well as, numerous wildlife sitings.
Memorial Day is a huge event in Spring Creek, and this year's 16th Annual Parade was no exception. Every year our parade which brings out the community. Families and friends hang out on lawn chairs in their front yards and totally enjoy the passing parade which features: neighborhood Veterans (first and foremost), kids on bikes and trikes, fire engines, bicyclists, antique cars, motorcycles, marching bands, politicians, and a whole lot more!
Prestonwood
Prestonwood Estates Neighborhood Association (PENA) and Prestonwood on the Park Neighborhood Association (POPNA) are two distinct areas of single family homes in North Dallas. Prestonwood Estates, comprises approximately 303 homes, and is bordered by Meadowcreek on the West, Winterwood on the North, Hillcrest on the East and Beltline on the South. Although the vast majority of PENA lies in the Richardson ISD, it lies partly in the Dallas ISD. Please consult the RISD School Finder in order to determine for certain in which school district your home lies. Prestonwood on the Park Neighborhood Association is bordered by Hillcrest on the West, La Cosa on the North, Meandering Way on the East and Beltline on the South. POPNA has a total of approximately 398 homes which lie entirely within the Richardson ISD.
Northwood Hills
Northwood Hills located just North of 635 in Far North Dallas is bounded loosely by Preston Road on the West, Beltline on the North, Coit on the East, and Alpha Road on the South. The subdivision is comprised of approximately 1145 homes which are predominantly large ranch style homes and feature large lots. Hillcrest divides the Northwood Hills Estates featuring homes on 1 acre lots from the remainder of Northwood Hills. The vast majority of Northwood Hills lies in the Richardson ISD, but a portion of the subdivision in the area of Westgate lies in the Dallas ISD. The Northwood Hills Home Owners Association is quite active and a good source of subdivision information and history Northwood.
